Junior 3000GT go kart racing is competitive Go Kart racing in a control class. Tyres and engine specification are controlled to reduce costs, and ensure that racing is close and affordable. Junior 3000GT go kart racing harks back to the beginning of the 'Prodsports' or 'Modsports' era - when Healeys grew huge flared guards and wide tyres in order to remain competitive against more modern high tech vehicles.
The 'Sons of Bond' go kart racing series patron is none other than Ross Bond himself! The series will start in 2005, and is open to Junior 3000GT go karts, competing for the Ross Bond Perpetual Trophy.
Created by the renowned Austin Healey restorer, Colin Rule, the karts come in a choice of traditional Healey racing colours and are complete and ready to race.
